Director, Digital Product Management NRAEF - Communications

Position Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Director, Digital Product Management to oversee the reinvention and ongoing management of the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation’s (NRAEF) digital strategy and web and social media platforms, including ChooseRestaurants.org.  As the philanthropic foundation of the National Restaurant Association, the NRAEF’s mission of service to the public is dedicated to enhancing the industry’s training and education, career development and community engagement efforts.  The Foundation is on the front-lines of attracting, empowering and advancing today’s and tomorrow’s restaurant and foodservice industry workforce.
The Director, Digital Product Management is responsible for the NRAEF’s digital strategy and experience and will lead an initiative to assess the strengths and weaknesses of ChooseRestaurants.org, improve the site’s functionality and launch new restaurant career path tools.  Reporting to the VP, Communications, the position will work closely with the NRAEF’s IT team, content coordinator as well as internal stakeholders and outside digital resources.  
The ideal candidate for this role brings strong collaborative and problem-solving skills, creative energy and a proven ability to develop digital and web-based platforms that are relevant, targeted and engaging.  The Director, Digital Product Management must be highly motivated, results driven and excited to work in a fast paced and dynamic industry. We are looking for someone who is will to take risks and find innovative ways to achieve the Foundation’s mission:  Feeding Dreams – Building Futures.  
Principle Duties: 
Lead all aspects of product management, including digital product vision, business case development, backlog management, requirements documentation, specifications, and product documentation
Define and manage product roadmaps that are aligned to user needs
Lead a user requirements process that defines the near and long-term product and business strategy
Gather and analyze customer feedback to develop and execute action plans based on insights
Track KPIs and develop points of view on insights to present to Leadership
Serve as the creator and owner of the product development capital and operating budgets.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive end-to-end product development
Lead design and development teams to build and implement a great digital experiences
Work with IT and outside vendors to lead all new feature development, including site design and support and QA testing.  Work closely with QA on acceptance testing and lead product launches
Support day-to-day digital needs and lead issue investigation and resolution
Evolve digital platforms based on data-driven product design and refinement
Have a keen interest in following trends and emerging technologies
Serve as a digital subject matter expert across the organization
8+ years of digital product management experience, including digital marketing and communications, product launches and business analysis
Digital agency, consulting or entrepreneurial experience
Solid digital product management background with the ability to concurrently manage multiple projects from initial user research through final delivery
Strong analytical skills with ability to work through complex concepts/data and present well thought-out, simple solutions
Demonstrated thoroughness, follow-up and attention to detail
Strong leadership, communication and presentation skills
Experience with Kentico and an understanding of product management's role in various development methodologies.
Experience interfacing with vendors and cross-functional teams
Effortlessly collaborative with strong intellectual curiosity and creative problem solving
Bachelor’s Degree required - MBA preferred

Ability to translate data and analytics into compelling and understandable content
Strong ability to plan and execute work over weeks and months – strong time management skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Interpersonal skills – ability to collaborate with large and small internal and external 
Able to operate effectively in a fast-paced work environment, and manage multiple projects with minimal supervision
Travel required
