Fast Casual Industry Council - Overview

The NRA’s Fast Casual Industry Council is the primary advocate for the fast casual segment. The group brings together senior executives from fast casual restaurants to discuss common concerns and advise the National Restaurant Association.

Learn from key players in the fastest-growing industry segment. Check out new episodes of Fast Casual TV, the only online program for the Fast Casual Industry by the Fast Casual Industry.

Fast casual is a relatively new and growing field that fits between traditional quickservice and casual dining concepts. Fast casual restaurants feature limited service or self-service, average checks between $8 and $15, made-to-order food, and upscale décor. The NRA’s Fast Casual Industry Council provides professional development, education and networking opportunities through bi-annual meetings and a quarterly newsletter to exchange best practices with peers.

FCIC conferences deliver a comprehensive look at where the fast casual segment is and where it is headed. The meetings provide insight for fast casual executives, as well as casual dining, quickservice and family style restaurants leaders who can learn from the success of what is one of the fastest-growing segments in the industry. Attendance is limited to restaurant operators and sponsoring organizations.
