Examining the roles technology and innovation play in the country’s food supply will top the agenda at this year’s Food Integrity Summit, Oct. 15-16.
The conference, hosted by the Center for Food Integrity, will be held at the Hyatt Regency in Rosemont, Ill., will focus on such topics as how to manage the challenge of food system technology and consumer trust as well as findings from the CFI’s Global Hunger Solutions survey on food insecurity, the challenges, potential solutions and the way forward.
Key speakers at the event will include former White House chef and author Walter Scheib, the International Food Information Council’s Dave Schmidt, the U.S. Farmers and Ranchers Alliance’s Linda W. Eatherton, the NRA’s Sue Hensley and the CFI’s Charlie Arnot.
“The National Restaurant Association is pleased to participate in this year’s conference,” Hensley said. “The CFI’s core mission of building consumer trust and confidence in our food system is not only important, but necessary. Gaining the public trust is integral to the successful operation of our food system and the foodservice businesses that depend on it.”
