Innovation summit to focus on tech tools, ideas

Interested in the latest innovations and technological tools created to help restaurateurs operate better and more profitably? Join the National Restaurant Association for its upcoming Restaurant Innovation Summit in Atlanta.

The conference, set for Oct. 28 and 29, will focus on data alchemy‑ how good data stewardship can lead to better hospitality experiences. To do this, the summit will feature nine breakout sessions on topics including:

  • Mobile commerce.
  • Data stewardship and privacy.
  • Collaborative economy.
  • Behavior science and loyalty.
  • Innovative social media.

“We are pleased to be able to offer our Association’s members a collaborative forum in which they can share information about mobile payments, social media, behavioral science and privacy issues,” said Phil Kafarakis, the NRA’s chief innovation and member advancement officer. “We believe the fast-paced exchange of ideas will excite and inspire attendees of this event.”

The conference aims to help restaurateurs:

  1. How can I put data to work for my business?
  2. What features should I prioritize when building my restaurant’s mobile application?
  3. What can I learn about my customers from social media and how should I respond to them?
  4. What do my customers really want out of a loyalty program and how do I get more people to participate?

“The ideas presented at this year’s summit will help operators be more efficient, cost effective and achieve business success,” he said.

The fee to participate in this year’s conference is $395 for NRA members and $895 for nonmembers. Register for the conference here.
