Say ‘Ciao’ to new foods, ideas at Bellavita Expo

For the second year in a row, we’re going to cook up food and fun at NRA Show 2017’s Bellavita Italian Pavilion, May 20 to 23.

Bellavita, the largest “Made-in-Italy Food & Wine Expo” outside the mother country, will once again take up residence at McCormick Place’s Lakeside Center exhibit hall in Chicago. Attendees will get a quick primer in how to purchase and cook the best Italian foods and products. They’ll also be able to taste amazing food, extraordinary wines, and explore the intricacies of Italian cuisine.

Among this year’s highlights are:

Cooking demos by Italian master chefs

Federico Comacchio, executive chef at Coco Pazzo restaurant, John Coletta, head chef and co-founder of Quartino Ristorante & Wine Bar, and celebrity chef-restaurateur Fabio Viviani will conduct master classes.

The Food and Wine Academy Theatre



Culinary pros and sommeliers will present master classes in food and wine from various Italian regions.

The Bellavita Awards

This is the first international awards program dedicated to recognizing authentic Italian food and beverage.
