Students get a ‘taste’ of success

Pssst…have you seen our new Project Taste Test video?

Our Educational Foundation – in partnership with PepsiCo Foodservice – produced the video, which features industry leaders offering high-school students advice on how to achieve successful careers in foodservice and hospitality.

The Project Taste Test videos are produced every year and geared toward students in culinary arts and restaurant management programs like the NRAEF’s ProStart initiative.

This year, Marriott International’s Elaine Richards, Matthew Von Ertfelda and Aaron Wright talk about becoming the expert of your craft, developing leadership skills, collaborating with others and not being afraid to fail.

“Think about the long haul, not the short-term,” Von Ertfelda says.
