Unique events planned during NRA Show

The NRA Show is always an action-packed week. Here’s a preview of four NRA events associated with the NRA Show in Chicago.

Restaurant Finance Summit
The NRA's first Restaurant Finance Summit is scheduled for Monday, May 19 at McCormick Place. Bringing together restaurant financial executives and operators, Wall Street analysts, investment groups and lenders, and expert tax/accounting professionals, the summit will address the financial health of the restaurant, foodservice and hospitality industry. The event kicks off with a special presentation by Jonathan Tisch, chairman, Loews Hotels & Resorts. It also features discussions on trends in the restaurant industry from a Wall Street perspective, restaurant financing/lending possibilities, and legal, tax, operations and supply chain issues.

Marketing Executives Group
Representatives from top restaurant brands will gather May 14 through 16 to network and learn at the Marketing Executives Study Group meeting. Marketing experts will discuss social media, technology, big data and brands that are generating excitement. MEG’s social events, always a highlight of the NRA Show, include dinner on the roof of theWit hotel and a reception featuring Alaskan seafood.

Supply Chain Management Study Group
Supply Chain professionals from influential food companies will convene May 15 through 16. The meeting kicks off with a panel discussion featuring Rick Federico, CEO of P.F. Chang’s China Bistro, Rick Silva, president and CEO of Checkers Drive-In Restaurants, and Sally Smith, CEO and president of Buffalo Wild Wings.

Fast Casual Trends & Directions Conference
For the third year in a row, the NRA partners with Technomic and DigitalCoCo to present the Fast Casual Trends and Directions Conference. This invitation-only event offers fast casual restaurant executives a comprehensive look at where the fast casual segment is, where it’s headed, and how to capitalize on opportunities. Attendees are scheduled to tour Eataly Chicago, as well as hear from Pro Football Hall of Famer Marcus Allen.
