Your restaurant can help end childhood hunger

Share Our Strength is less than a month from launching its annual  Dine Out for No Kid Hungry campaign.

Since the campaign’s launch, it has connected kids struggling with hunger with more than 107 million additional meals.  Thanks to 8,859 restaurants that participated last year, Dine Out for No Hungry raised more than $8 million to help end childhood hunger. This year's goal is $10 million, and each day, more restaurants join the cause.

As the founding partner of Dine Out for No Kid Hungry, the NRA encourages restaurants to to participate. Here are six easy steps to get involved:

  1. Register online.
  2. Visit the participant resource center for tools, planning guides and tips.
  3. Determine your promotion. The No Kid Hungry team will be more than happy to help you create and implement a successful dine out promotion.
  4. Publicize your participation to your guests, social media followers and the community. Display point-of-purchase materials in your restaurant.
  5. Educate employees on the issue of childhood hunger and your promotion. Free training tools are available through the participant resource center.
