CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER -- Trade association seeks CIO to fill a new strategic technology role for organization with offices in DC and Chicago and other remote locations, presently reporting directly to the CEO. Current operating environment: Windows 2003, mixed Exchange 2003/2007 (transition). Responsibilities: Direct, plan and control all technological activities and to ensure the effective, efficient and secure operation of all automated systems. Responsible for the enterprise-wide information vision and strategy. Leads IT strategic and operational planning to achieve business goals, including budget. CUSTOMER TECHNICAL SUPPORT ASSOCIATE -- The Customer Service Technical Support Specialist delivers excellent service to both external customers and internal colleagues by providing assistance and support to our Customer Service Specialists and Associates. In doing so, the Customer Service Technical Support Associate is responsible for first level incident assessment and documentation, problem resolution in support of online programs, services and related databases. This individual is responsible for exemplary service standards in providing technical and operational assistance within our Customer Service call center.

The Customer Service Technical Support Associate provides exemplary technical and operational assistance to external customers and internal colleagues in support of online programs, services, and their related databases. As a member of our busy call center, the Customer Service Technical Support Associate is responsible for first level incident assessment, problem resolution, related system testing, and documentation.

Qualifications
Candidate must be possess a strong technical help desk or technical support role, preferably within a busy call center, and in support of online programs, services and related database management. Candidate must possess solid technical knowledge for trouble shooting and resolving web user and database issues, PC, order entry and database systems and in the use of call center technology. The Customer Service Technical Support Associate must be highly organized with the ability to handle multiple priorities, detail-oriented, and possess strong analytical and problem solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed in communicating and in troubleshooting with internal colleagues and to a wide variety of technically versed customer base. The ability to speak Spanish is a plus.

Candidate must have previous technical help desk or technical assistance experience, preferably within a busy call center, supporting end user needs for online programs, services and related database management. Candidate must have experience troubleshooting Windows OS, Internet browsers, and relational databases, and be proficient in MS Office. Experience with call center technology, and Mac OS a plus. The Customer Service Technical Support Associate must be highly organized with the ability to handle multiple priorities, detail-oriented, and possess strong analytical and problem solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are needed in communicating and in troubleshooting with internal colleagues and a diverse customer base. The ability to speak Spanish is a plus.

The Customer Service Specialist provides timely information and support for the Association’s products, programs and services.

Qualifications

Candidate must be highly organized, detail-oriented, able to handle multiple priorities and possess strong analytical and problem solving skills. Responsibilities include answering a wide variety of customer concerns, including technical support of web-based programs and services. Candidate must acquire comprehensive product knowledge and be able to cross-promote to best meet customer needs. Position will have extensive phone contact, and will handle order processing, database queries, account management, order tracking and order fulfillment needs. This team player must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Prior customer service experience required. The ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
