The restaurant industry is the nation's second largest private sector employer with its workforce of 12.8 million. The industry is projected to add by 1.3 million positions, reaching 14.1 million, in the next decade. Support ProStart — the future of our industry
ProStart is a National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation program that provides restaurant management and culinary skills to more than 80,000 high school students. Restaurateurs can provide financial support, mentor ProStart students, or make in-kind donations to local ProStart programs.

The National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation is the leading scholarship provider for the restaurant and foodservice industry. The NRAEF has awarded more than $11 million in merit-based scholarships over the past 20-plus years. Scholarships are available to freshmen and undergraduate students.
