Buddy’s Pizza is proud of its 32-year commitment to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen through its Slice for Life benefit event each year. Employees plan and host the event and educate themselves about the Capuchin Soup Kitchen so they can promote its benefits to customers. Buddy’s Pizza employees are the biggest champions of the cause. They often volunteer their free time to work at the various Soup Kitchen outlets and some donate their tips during the Slice for Life benefit to give to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen. Since its involvement with the kitchen began in 1974, Buddy’s Pizza has donated $1.8 million in food and proceeds from its annual Capuchin Soup Kitchen benefit.
