Cornerstone Humanitarian Nominee: Leonard Louvierre

Leonard Louvierre isn’t satisfied with just running a successful restaurant in his community; he’s also made community outreach a nearly full-time job. A long-time contributor to the Boys & Girls Club of Acadiana, Louvierre supports each event the organization puts on and donates personal funds to its annual fundraising dinner. He actively supports the Hospice of Acadiana, spending time with patients and counseling family members. For the past six years, Louvierre has committed his time to Kairos, a prison ministry program. After several months of study, he spends a weekend in Angola State Penitentiary working with and counseling prisoners incarcerated for life.
