September 1, 2009 — The NRA was recently part of a conference call with the White House on the important role for businesses in helping to reduce the spread of flu this fall, including H1N1 and seasonal flu. Valerie Jarrett, senior advisor to the President, led the call, along with the Secretary of Commerce. The Administration released updated guidance for businesses on the upcoming flu season, with a communications toolkit to help employers prepare and protect their employees. The NRA will continue to be engaged with federal health officials as we move into flu season.
