Add flavor while supporting ProStart students, scholarships

October 6, 2009 — Log on to QVC.com to support high school culinary arts and hospitality management programs.

For every 23-ounce bottle of Coach’s Low Country Boil Seasoning sold through QVC, Coach’s Low Country Brands will donate $2 to the National Restaurant Association’s ProStart program. ProStart is a two-year high school curriculum for students interested in restaurant and hospitality careers.

National Restaurant Association board member Joe Crosby, who owns Coach’s Low Country Brands, started the bottle program last fall.

Seneca, S.C.-based Coach’s Low Country Brands will contribute $1 from the sale of every bottle to state restaurant association or state restaurant association educational foundations that support ProStart. Another $1 in sales will go to National Restaurant Association Solutions/National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation to support the ProStart program and scholarships for students and educators.
