National Restaurant Association urges Congress to reform immigration rules

Association Treasurer Michael Kaufman (Pond Hill Ventures, Chappaqua, N.Y.) called for comprehensive immigration reform Sept. 13 at a rally and news conference at the U.S. Capitol. "Immigrants are fundamental to the success of the restaurant industry - as entrepreneurs, customers and workers," he said. "Therefore, a rational immigration policy is essential to our industry’s continued growth."
