What is the balance due on my booth space?
You may view your balance and any current information we have for your company by logging into your account in the Exhibitor Information Manager. You will need your username and password found on your confirmation contract. (NOTE: The balance due reflects booth space only and will not include outstanding balances with any other contractors.)
How do I make hotel arrangements?
Hotel rooms will be available for reservation on/around November 1, 2007. The fastest and most efficient way to review availability of hotels and make reservations is through the NRA Show Travel Desk located on our Web site.
How many complimentary Show badges do I receive with my booth?
Each exhibitor receives five (5) complimentary badges for the first 100 square feet of space purchased, and three (3) badges for each additional 100 square feet of space [i.e., up to 200 square feet equals eight (8) badges, up to 300 square feet equals (11) badges, etc.]
How much does it cost for additional badges?
Additional badges are $35 per person before April 11, 2008 and $70 per person thereafter.
What is SmartBooth?
SmartBooth is a Web-based marketing tool which enables your company to automatically find, qualify and connect with buyers beginning approximately eight weeks before NRA Show 2008.
Pre-Show Marketing: What resources are available to exhibitors?
Exhibitors receive the Exhibitor Success Guide in January which is a planning tool used to prepare and announce an exhibitor’s presence at NRA Show 2008. It provides valuable strategies and information about getting an exhibitor’s products and services seen at the Show.
Exhibitors will be able to order NRA marketing materials (i.e., postcards, stickers) at no charge through the Exhibitor Information Manager beginning in January. You will need your company’s Username and Password.
Exhibitors can also rent the NRA Show Attendee List for a one time use beginning in December 2007.
What time can exhibitors get on the floor during Show days?
Exhibitors are allowed on the Show floor during the following times if wearing an exhibitor* badge:
| Saturday, May 17 |
7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. |
| Sunday, May 18 |
7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. |

*A person wearing an attendee badge is not allowed in the hall outside of official Show hours – 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Manufacturer’s reps who have obtained their own (attendee) badges will not be allowed in the hall early.
Are there any exceptions to the booth height regulation?
Unfortunately, there are NO exceptions to any of the NRA Show Exhibit Design Regulations in order to protect the integrity of the Show and create a fair environment for all exhibitors. These regulations will be sent to each exhibitor via FedEx in the Confirmation Kit, will be printed in their entirety in the Exhibitor Services & Information Kit, and will be posted on the Show Web site.
In addition, companies exhibiting in island and peninsula booth types are required by regulation to submit their floor plans for review by the NRA no later than March 13, 2008. Refer to your confirmation contract if you are unsure whether you have an island or peninsula booth type, or contact Exhibitor Services at nraexhibitorservices@restaurant.org for more information.
How do I order carpet, drayage, electricity and labor?
We will send out an Exhibitor Service Kit via FedEx beginning in January which will include all the information you need to order booth services. The service kit is also available online.
How do I submit a third party contractor (Exhibitor Appointed Contractor)?
You must register your company and the EAC/display house with the Exhibitor
Appointed Contractor Association by March 31, 2008. The EACA is responsible for collecting pertinent information from NRA exhibitors and their appointed contractors.
What if I am past the deadline?
You will have to hire labor for installation and
dismantling through the official service contractor for the NRA Show, GES
Exposition Services.
Do I need insurance?
Show Management does not maintain insurance covering exhibitor’s property. It is required that an exhibitor obtain adequate insurance coverage, at their own expense, for property loss or damage and liability for personal injury.
Exhibitors are responsible for their own equipment. It is expected they have, or will purchase, adequate insurance to protect against all perils. You do not need to submit this to the NRA, but you must be able to prove insurance on site if needed.
Will WIFI be available at the Show?
Yes, in the Technology Pavilion located in the back of the North Hall, Level 3.
What is GES Exposition Services phone number?
The number to the National Servicenter is (800) 475-2090. You can also contact them via e-mail at servicenter@ges.com or visit their Web site at www.ges.com.
