Food for thought: BrainFeed serves up social marketing tips

The National Restaurant Association is offering a webinar that will teach operators how to increase traffic to their restaurants by engaging in social media and online marketing techniques.

“Butts in Seats: 5 Social Media and Online Marketing Strategies,” is part of the Association’s BrainFeed program, a series of webinars, interactive podcasts, video demonstrations and rebroadcasts of education sessions from this year’s annual NRA Show.

The entire BrainFeed collection is designed to give restaurateurs insights from industry leaders who appeared at this year’s show.

Katrina Padron, CEO of Padron Social Marketing, will lead the July 23rd social marketing presentation, which will guide restaurants on how to attract and retain guests as well as promote profitable items via social marketing. She also will show operators how to get the most out of using online platforms like Facebook, OpenTable, Instagram and Fishbowl, to gain rapid exposure. In addition, Padron will discuss tips, tools and techniques on how to increase catering and in-house event clientele, sales and guest counts through such programs as LinkedIn and by leveraging search engine marketing tactics.
