On Easter, you may want to ham it up!

This weekend, millions of Americans will celebrate Easter by dining out in a restaurant. And our research shows more than half of them are going to look for a buffet.

If you’re planning a special holiday menu at your restaurant, here are some other go-to foods customers say are must-haves for Easter dining:

Get ready to ply guests with pork

More than a third of diners say ham is on their wish list.

Sweets for the sweet

More than a third of consumers say they want to indulge in pastries.

The hunt is on

Twenty-seven percent of customers want to eat eggs.

Lamb is not as popular a choice

Less than one in 10 consumers say the protein is a must-have food at their holiday meals.

Now that you know what guests want to eat on Easter, here’s our info on when they want to eat it:

  • Nearly half say they visit a restaurant at lunchtime.
  • Forty-four percent say they’re going out for dinner.
  • Twenty-one percent are celebrating at breakfast.
  • Nearly a fifth of consumers have more than one restaurant meal at Easter.

Our research also found that guests on Easter Sunday are most likely to choose their favorite restaurants, regardless of specials, for their dining experience.
