Rev your tech engines. Get ready for Startup Alley

Will your tech company be the center-of-the-plate during NRA Show 2018?

Restaurateurs are looking for new technology to improve both performance and sales. That’s why we’re inviting you to join Startup Alley, a showcase for your new tech startup. If your company is under three years old and has annual sales of less than $5 million, this could be a great opportunity for you.

According to our recent research, industry sales in 2017 were $799 billion. This year, more restaurateurs will use technology to continue that forward momentum and stay relevant with customers. Online ordering, self-order/pay kiosks and mobile payment apps are among our industry’s most popular innovations, and operators want to offer them to their guests. In addition, published reports state that the number of investors backing food and beverage startups has tripled since 2013.

Startup Alley will be center stage at NRA Show 2018, May 19-22, at Chicago’s McCormick Place convention center. During those four days, more than 43,000 attendees will have hands-on access to your products and services, daily. We’ll provide you with a small kiosk with carpeted area, electricity, Internet access and a graphic panel for your company’s name and logo, as well as marketing and promotion.

We’re accepting applications to exhibit at Startup Alley until Feb. 1. The fee is $2,500 and there are a few guidelines to follow:

  • You must be new and you can’t have exhibited at a prior NRA Show or be a regular exhibitor at this year’s show
  • You have to have at least one paying customer, and
  • Your company or product must use technology to solve issues in a restaurant’s supply chain, its marketing initiatives, sustainability practices, payment programs, workforce issues and general operations

Apply to Startup Alley and create some tech buzz of your own.
