Top 3 reasons to attend our Public Affairs Conference

Want to join a political party? We’re inviting you to ours: the National Restaurant Association’s 31st annual Public Affairs Conference in Washington, D.C.

From March 28 to 29, we’ll open the doors to the U.S. Capitol and give you the chance to meet your legislators to discuss the issues that affect your business.

Still not convinced? Here are three big reasons why you won’t want to miss out:

1. Get the lowdown on issues affecting our industry

You’ll hear from our policy experts on issues like health care, tax reform and debit swipe-fee protections, and how they could affect your day-to-day operations. Political pundits Mark Halperin and John Heilemann will also be on hand to analyze the political landscape in Washington.

2. Meet the 115th Congress

You’ll travel to Capitol Hill to engage in one-on-one meetings with your legislators’ offices, and help us educate Congress on how the issues affect America’s restaurants. Most important, you’ll put a face on the real people, their constituents, who are most affected by the decisions they make.

3. Network and share ideas with your peers

Let’s face it; we’re all in this together. At our Public Affairs Conference, you’ll meet up with friends, industry colleagues and competitors – people who understand firsthand the challenges and opportunities you face – to share your concerns and discuss winning strategies.

This is your chance to speak up and be heard by our lawmakers in Washington, D.C. Your stories need to be told; your lawmakers need to see and hear beyond the issues. Don’t wait until it’s too late. Get involved, get loud and remember: “Restaurants Open Doors”.

Register for our Public Affairs Conference today.
