Stellar lineup of keynote speakers for the 2018 New England Food Show to include television personality Jon Taffer, celebrity chef Robert Irvine and TripAdvisor CEO & president Stephen Kaufer Registration now open for the Northeast’s premier restaurant, foodservice and hospitality show

CHICAGO, IL — The National Restaurant Association® (NRA) and the Massachusetts Restaurant Association (MRA) announced its most exciting lineup of keynote speakers yet for the New England Food Show (NEFS), February 25-27, 2018. Jon Taffer of Spike TV’s “Bar Rescue,” celebrity chef Robert Irvine and TripAdvisor CEO and president Stephen Kaufer will each share their considerable business experience with attendees. They are sure to inspire and invigorate the crowd with their unique perspectives on the challenges faced in the restaurant and hospitality industry. Attendees will benefit from their tips and insights and learn about making their own opportunities for success.
“The New England Food Show always offers endless opportunities for our region’s foodservice community,” says Bob Luz, MRA president and CEO. “2018 is no exception. We’re welcoming thrilling keynote speakers, we have an expanded show floor, enhanced educational programming and great events designed to get business done. We’re looking forward to celebrating the hospitality industry.”
The collaboration between NRA and MRA has revitalized the show, allowing NEFS to evolve in response to attendees’ interests. In addition to three can’t-miss keynote speakers, NEFS 2018 will offer fresh features and bold programming, including:
The latest digital and technological innovations for front- and back-of-house in one place, the all-new Tech Pavilion
Thirty-minute Tech Talks about digital innovation in foodservice at the all-new Tech Theater
Expanded education sessions with more advanced learning at NEFS Ed-Quarters
Attendees will also find the show elements they’ve loved over the years, including the robust exhibits on the show floor; MRA’s 2018 Annual Awards Dinner; culinary demonstrations and chef competitions; and the TriMark United East Restaurant Equipment Pavilion with equipment and supplies to test in person.
At the Social Media Hub restaurateurs can meet with experts for complimentary consultations to learn how to use social media to reach diners outside of their four walls, increase traffic and boost check size. In today’s digital environment there is no better recipe for generating word-of-mouth excitement than increasing diners’ digital engagement.
At the show, more than 300 exhibitors showcase products and services designed to help New England restaurant operators increase revenue and grow their businesses. The show's programming keeps industry professionals abreast of changes and innovations in our fast-paced business. The NEFS exhibit floor will be open Sunday, February 25 and Monday, February 26, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Tuesday, February 27 from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center. Restaurant, foodservice and hospitality professionals can register for entry to NEFS here.
